Something about cameras...

i have been revisiting the little few functions in my p6000 compact digital to capture movements into picture with maximum clarity possible. i am so into motion stills of late! The height of passion came further when i saw one at FrouFrouu's, but mine was more like err errm, never mind.. Based on my understanding and experience from those slr days (with Leica, Olympus, Nikon F3 & F4), papa had thought me a few logics behind the shutter, aperture, lighting & etc (Sad to say that i barely remember any of it..), the same logic foundation applies to today's dslr just that it has been digitalized and big thanks to technology that we dont need to waste tonnes of films to get good result pictures. Previewing can be done almost instantaneously to remove those bad snaps and keep the good ones. It was surprising to discover that many of the so called dslr entry level functions are all these while present for me to explore but frankly, i haven't been fruitful in practicing them prior to getting ready for a real dslr challenge. However, practice makes perfect and in my case practice creates the very desire for me to crave on a dslr instead :D feeding thoughts on an upgrade soon. Hopefully, i may be able to find one suitable for my needs & the nature of my behaviour (camera these days are mostly made of tough plastics don't you think?) i personally prefer the ones made out of steel (for stability-to prevent Parkinson's-like-shaky hands while snapping pictures-grrrhh) or titanium as i am very rough with gadgets that even my phone chassis is of steel material. We shall see at the nearest time on what i have decided to get... i hope you guys have fully ventured and make the best out of your camera.
