Caterpillar barcelet (Proenza Schouler inspired)

To be honest, i have been very backwards with the trends ever since i started working, which means almost a full twelve years. This bracelet is something i picked up from StyleScrapbook's page within page and came to realize that it was a history creation from Proenza Schouler. Intending to make one for myself ever since it is costly priced for a piece at Net-a-porter. As usual, overtime procrastination leads to unproductivity.. i have this bad habit of not finishing what i thought/started and love taking breaks in between which usually lead to incomplete works. Being so determined (a part from being afraid of abandoning the work, ahem), i put aside my house chores to complete the first part of the bracelet and continued right after that. One of the reason why i enjoyed making this was because i love mix matching colors of my preference. This bracelet gave me the impression of a caterpillar, don't you think? i am not being able to show you the steps because it was an impromptu project and it's progression were not recorded. However, full tutorial is available over at StyleScrapbook's page.. happy making! Nevertheless, i have list down the materials below:

All you ever need:
1. Uni or multicolored shoe lace / paper bag handle (woven type, i made mine out of paper bag handle before being disposed...)
2. Uni or multicolored woven strings
3. Colored sewing threads or fine line fishing strings (recommended, fireline fishing string because it's almost similar to a sewing thread but with better durability)
4. Scissor (make sure a sharp one because you don't want to be risking an untidy cut)
5. Needle (medium to large size as bracelet is thick)
6. Lighter (for a tidier end finishing)
7. Zipper, pendant, key chain (for added touch, e.g. locket for your bracelet)
8. Carabiner clasp
9. Zipper, key-chain or key-holder (to add unto the bracelet as a tag... for a touch of customized look)

Voila!

i hope you're satisfied with the end result.. Enjoy!
