Basic weekend bake

i have been long inspired by the scones that we had during our honeymoon back in end October to early November. Picture as below. Did some serious research and readings over the internet for the recipe. It was shockingly easy that you could even bake it with your eyes closed! Trust me, you will love recipe! So finally, i found the time to make it one for myself yesterday. The actual ingredients were recorded as below, retrieved from taste.com.au but i have mine measured according to logic and ratio since i'm doing just a small portion for myself and for a friend of mine, Michelle in return to a favor. Important notes to take care, dough need not be smooth but lumpy yet not too wet. And since i do not own an oven but just a toaster oven, ventilate the oven at low temperature (150 degree celcius) first before putting in the dough and place baking tray at the lowest level with heating plate option of top only. Check and control temperature from time to time by alternating the baking tray from one side to another to get an even burn as the ones nearer to the door tends to burn lesser. Becareful though, once the temperature gets too hot it will burn the scones in no time. All the best!

Ingredients:
Plain flour (for dusting)
3 cups self-raising flour
80g butter (cubed)
1 to 1.25 cups milk
Fruit jam & whipped cream
