dress wih flutter hem/Zero to Ten, glitter flats/Vincci, rose gold earings/gifted by Ryan, watch/Fossil, polyvinyl shopper's tote/local boutique
There’s always so much luxury in the color black. Sometimes when I’m not being in the mood for color, I’ll go for mono to give a break to colors. This ensemble has a mixture of glitter as in the shoes, polyvinyl as in the bag, ceramic as in the watch and viscose as in the dress material. It made me felt somewhat like Victoria Beckham :D because her designs were very structured and neat. However, the different materials, they made good contrast in their own properties as a team. I asked a favor from my colleague to picture my outfit of the day for me, thank you Jessie. (I knew its annoying most of the times when people just so obsessive in taking pictures of themselves, please forgive me if I do caused you such inconvenience but my main reason was just purely for blog reasons.). Speaking of the color black, I don’t own many pair of black outfits just because I personally feel that wearing black will make me look one tone darker (besides common and less creative). It’s not that I’m allergic to tanned skin but there are times you know you just want to look bright and fair. Trust me, I have a darker skin complexion among my siblings and my remedy for this is to opt for a bright color to divert the attention of the viewers to the dress instead. Haha! I might sound ridiculous but this is what I usually do. As you may know me, I hate looking dull so I always incorporate colors in many ways in my outfit. I comprehend this by asking myself what would my first thought be when I look at others who’s fair or tanned dressed in their same skin color choice instead of something contrast? My answer would be ‘boring’ and ‘no definition’ definitely. So because of that, my very same reason as to why I prefer something which outstanding yet suits the skin tone. You might have a different thought than me, and it’s entirely dependent on each individuals how are their perspective towards colors..
